Official Biography
Julian Nicholson (born August 6, 1991), professionally known as J.Cuse, is an American record producer and songwriter originally from Syracuse, New York. He relocated to Indianapolis at a young age, where his passion for music production was quickly cultivated.J.Cuse first gained significant recognition in 2009 while still walking the halls of Pike High School for his pivotal work on multi-platinum recording artist Bow Wow’s Greenlight project, marking Bow Wow’s initial release following his signing with Cash Money Records. This early, high-profile breakthrough immediately established J.Cuse's credibility and set the foundation of a dynamic production career.Determined to elevate his craft beyond the standard, J.Cuse sought to master the industry. Following graduation, he signed a pivotal Production Deal with Grammy-Award-Winning Songwriter and Producer John Conte Jr. (known for his work on Jamie Foxx's "Blame It" and Shakira's "Dare La La"). This era defined J.Cuse’s work ethic; spending years working out of major recording studios, he honed the technical and business intricacies of hit-making from the ground up.Since then, J.Cuse has delivered production across a diverse spectrum of major and independent acts, collaborating with industry heavyweights including Birdman, Tory Lanez, Curren$y, Mark Battles, Dizzy Wright, Jae Millz, and more. In addition to his work in hip-hop, he has successfully expanded his reach by providing production and sound design for prominent national television networks, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability across media platforms.
